1.What does kiraybet stands for?
Kiraybet is a combination of two Amharic words, an Ethiopian language, meaning a room/house for rent.
2.What does it cost?
Until we announce to do so Kiraybet.com will be a free service to anyone upon free registration. Once the trial period is over the service will be available at a very small amount of payment that can be affordable by anyone.
3.How does it work?
It's simple. Refine and locate to your desired area and compare potential roomies you might have. Click on the contact link at the bottom of each of your potentials ad to get contact information. You are done! Done! Live happily ever after. If you want to post your own ads you will require a free registration. You are also highly encouraged to edit your profile as it will be a key info to potentials.

5.Do you keep my personal information private?
Even though you will be asked to provide your full name and date of birth We will NOT publicize those information on the site. Nicknames and age ranges will be provided instead. Your e-mail address and telephone number will only be available to Kiraybet.com users as it is the only way to help users communicate each other. Additionally, we will never disclose your personal information to outside parties.
6.I found a problem with the site, should I let you know?
Software bugs are inevitable, and we need your help in squashing them. If you discover anything unusual, please contact us by using the contacts us link from the menu bar.
7.Why should I become a Member?
As a member you will get the access to all services available including adding your own advertisements and blogging. If not registered you will be limited to see other people’s advertisements and blogs with no participation. Plus, others can only reach you only if they have a chance to see your contact info where can only add it up on becoming a member.
8.I forgot my user name and or password! Can you help me?
Simply request login assistance by clicking on the forget password link from the members link of the menu bar and we'll send your user name and password via e-mail. Or simply click here if you have forgotten your password.
9.How do I register?
Registration is quite simple and free! Just click on the Register link from the home page and fill out the required fields and you are good to go. Once you are a registered user by participating on the blog or posting your ads you don’t need to re-register again for any other purposes. You will automatically be granted to do all options available on the site including your own posts as many as you can. You are highly encouraged to fill out all the required information so that your ads will be self explanatory and minimize most unimportant contacts from users. You also need to fill some additional information that can make your desire/search more interactive. Using “Amharic’ fonts are also possible on this field to express yourself and your desire as possible as you can.
10.How do I log in?
To access the members’ area, select Login and enter the user name and password that you created when you first get registered. Click here if you have forgotten your password.
11.How do I edit my profile?
You can edit your profile at anytime by clicking on 'My Account' link after logging in using your email and password. There you will see every record you filled at the time of registration including profile picture. Update the fields that you think is wrong and click on save changes when you are satisfied with your new profile information.
12.How do I edit my ads?
Very easy! Just do the same thing like you did on section 11 and you will see you ads at the bottom of the page. You can edit, delete or see the details of each ad submitted by you. You can click on the edit link of your ads if you have changes to do. You can also upload or remove images (must be .jpeg files) to make your ad more interactive. You are also allowed to add additional information by using the “Amharic” language.
13.How long will my profile remain active?
Your profile will remain active as long as you wish. When you've found a roommate and / or are no longer in need of our services, be sure to deactivate.
